The Long Term Living Training Institute Archives and Resources provides a bank of training materials and videos of interest to older and disabled Pennsylvanians, those individuals who provide them with services as well as the general public.
Resources available for download or viewing are listed below. General information with no particular date of event is listed at the top of the page. Events with a particular date are listed below with the most recent events on the top of the list.

PA Protective Services Documentation Procedural Manual
This detailed manual provides step-by-step instructions for the entry of protective service case information into the SAMS system. The purpose of this manual is to support the work of the Network by giving them the necessary tools to be able to quickly, concisely and accurately document protective service actions in to SAMS. The manual was developed for use by staff that has had at least a basic understanding of the SAMS system.

Protective Services Intake Worker Training - (Webinar) - 11-17-2009
ATTENTION: This training meets the requirements of Protective Services Regulations §15.24 & §15.124 pertaining to Intake Workers. In addition, this training should be a supplement to your agency’s in-house Intake Worker Training.
NOTE: This training does not meet the requirements for and will not count towards the annual enrichment training required of Protective Services Supervisors and Caseworkers as mandated by Protective Services Regulations §15.121.

This primer, Evacuating Populations with Special Needs, provides local and state emergency managers, government officials, transportation agencies, and other organizations involved in disaster response with best practices and tools to accommodate people with special needs in an evacuation. Specifically, this document should aid in developing an evacuation plan that includes the coordination of transportation resources to meet the requirements of people with special needs.
