The following online training programs are currently offered through the Long Term Living Training Institute. Please note that you may need to register or sign in to access these programs.
Boston University Institute for Geriatric Social Work - PA Course Catalog

Online Course Catalog for PA Long Term Care Professionals:
The Boston University Institute of Geriatric Social Work has developed two online curricula for professional staff working within the PA Area Agencies on Aging. Programs are currently available on the Boston University IGSW Vista Platform for Protective Services staff and Ombudsman and are offered at discounted cost via the Long Term Living Training Institute of Pennsylvania.
To access these online, courses please see your supervisor. The PS and Ombudsman programs each have their own respective discount codes. You will need to register with the Boston University IGSW Vista platform prior to accessing the courses. Account registration is automatic, however there is a 1 hour delay between ordering and being able to accessing courses.

NFCE Clarification Bulletin
This online course is design for AAA staff responsible for conductinglevel of care assessments. This course, along with the NFCE Clarification Bulletin, clarifies and supplements the guidance regarding NFCE determinations found on pages 7-8 of Chapter 1, Assessments, of the Home and Community Based Services Procedures Manual and in the Level of Care Assessment Instructions. Although you can stop and review this course at anytime, allow approximately 90 minutes to complete this training program.

Video Reviews of HSOA and HSIM Exercises
The Video Reviews of Healthy Steps for Older Adults (HSOA) and Healthy Steps in Motion (HSIM) are a series of video modules highlighting excercise techniques for seniors. These modules are currently only available to train-the-trainer (TTT) graduates. The HSOA Online module for TTT is coming soon.

Housing 101 online course series
This training series is for Nursing Home Transition Coordinators, Aging Care Managers, Service Coordinators, and others involved in helping individuals to transition from nursing homes to the community. Housing 101 provides an overview of the various issues consumers face when trying to obtain affordable and accessible housing.
The course is divided into six modules, which cover topics such as:
- Understanding the elements of affordable accessible housing
- Identifying consumers housing needs and preferences
- Recognizing the housing barriers faced by people who are transitioning from a nursing home
- Understand the differences among four types of affordable rental housing options
- Becoming knowledgeable about the application policies
- Understand the different types of housing providers
- Identifying and address barriers to accessing housing
- Understanding of basic how to address accessibility needs including home modifications and assistive technology and
- Developing a individual Nursing Home Transition Housing Assessment

PCMI Edu 2.0 LMS Course Catalog
PCMI has a series of eLearning modules designed for those working in human services. They include clinically oriented courses like Documentation and Case Recording, supervisory offerings, and more generic programs such as Human Diversity and Cultural Competence. All completed courses award the learner a certificate of completion. Additionally, members of PCMI's Care Management Accreditation Program (CMAP) can earn credits toward their certification process with these courses.
