EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR VACANCY
The Huntingdon-Bedford-Fulton Area Agency on Aging has an opening for the position of AAA Administrator 2 (ExecutiveDirector) and requests that qualified applicants submit a complete resume, with cover letter, to the main office in Bedford, 240 Wood Street, PO Box 46, Bedford, PA 15522, no later than November 30, 2013. Minimum Experience and Training, as established by the Civil Service Commission, includes: 1 year of experience as a Deputy Administrator at an equivalent level; or 6 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the field of Social Services,which includes 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of budget & general management experience; and abachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social science; or any equivalent combination of experience & training which includes 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related Social Science. A master's degree in Social Work or the Social Sciences (i.e.sociology, psychology, social welfare or gerontology) maybe substituted for 1 year of the general experience.
